The Armor Group, Inc. Code of Conduct
For Suppliers and Third-Party Intermediaries
The Armor Group is committed to working in partnership with our suppliers to follow a code of conduct in the areas of employee labor conditions, health & safety, environmental management, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility.
This Code of Conduct sets forth the basic requirements we expect of our suppliers towards this shared purpose. By agreeing to do business with The Armor Group, Inc., the supplier hereby declares:
- The Supplier will conduct business responsibly, with integrity, honesty, and transparency and adhere to the standards set forth in this Code of Conduct.
- The Supplier will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate and do business.
- The Supplier will provide safe and humane working conditions for all employees and will provide educational training on health & safety issues.
- The Supplier will respect human rights and prohibit all forms of forced or compulsory labor and prohibit child labor consistent with the standards established pursuant to the International Labor Organization Conventions.
- The Supplier will treat its employees fairly and honestly, including adherence to applicable laws and regulations related to the payment of fair wages, working hours, and employee benefits.
- The Supplier will promote a diverse workforce and refuse to tolerate any discrimination, harassment, or any other form of abuse or corporal punishment.
- The Supplier will respect their employee’s right to freedom of association, consistent with local laws and regulations.
- The Supplier will operate in accordance with applicable statutory and international standards regarding the environment to minimize adverse environmental impacts and provide continuous environmental protection.
- The Supplier will not engage, directly or indirectly, in any form of corruption or bribery and will compete fairly for our business.
- The Supplier will avoid and/or disclose conflicts of interest that may influence business relationships with The Armor Group and seek to avoid the appearance thereof.
- The Supplier will not, directly, or indirectly, facilitate money laundering or terrorism financing.
- The Supplier will comply with all applicable export control and customs regulations.
- The Supplier will cooperate with local, national, and foreign customs and drug enforcement agencies to guard against illegal shipments of drugs.
- The Supplier will not use any supplier that violates this Code of Conduct and will immediately cease utilizing a supplier that they understand does not act in accordance with this Code of Conduct.
